The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity for a board-certified surgeon or experienced surgeon with a strong orthopedic focus to walk directly into a busy, established orthopedic caseload with robust internal referrals and an established client base.
You will not be building a service from the ground up — you will be stepping into a surgical program that is already trusted, supported, and growing.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues, including one of our partners who has performed over 1,000 TPLO procedures, providing opportunities for collaboration, case discussion, and shared expertise.
This role offers the autonomy of a surgical specialist while benefiting from the stability and support of an experienced surgical team.
We Are Seeking a Surgeon Who
- Is board-certified (ACVS or equivalent) or an experienced surgeon with a strong focus on orthopedics
- Has a special interest and advanced expertise in orthopedic surgery for canine and feline patients, along with routine surgical procedures
- Is committed to excellence in surgical outcomes and evidence-based medicine
- Values collaboration, mentorship, and team development
- Enjoys partnering closely with clients throughout surgical planning and recovery
- Is excited to help grow and elevate an already well-established orthopedic service
Key Responsibilities
- Perform advanced orthopedic procedures, including TPLO, fracture repair, arthroscopy, and joint and ligament surgeries
- Perform additional routine surgeries to assist with the surgical caseload
- Provide surgical consultations and collaborate with referring veterinarians
- Partner closely with our general practitioners for seamless case management
- Participate in case review, mentorship, and continuing education initiatives
- Assist with routine and sick appointments as needed
