We understand the bond you share with your pet.  The human animal bond is one of the strongest bonds. He or she has been a member of your family for many years and in passing the void left behind is often a emotionally draining and physically exhausting experience to have to go through. We have added this web page to help give you peace of mind resources and answers to questions you may have about aftercare.

You may then fill out the form at the bottom of the page and submit it to us and we will then have all the information on file and prepared ahead of your visit. If you have any additional questions prior to your scheduled appointment please do not hesitate to give us a call.

As a pet owner, you have the special responsibility of making aftercare choices on your pet’s behalf.  Working closely with Final Gift we will gently guide you though the process of making cremation arrangements that are fitting for you and your pet. We have three options available for after care at the hospital.  We can also assist you in contacting Final Gift if you would like have a private viewing or visitation at their memorial center.  Below is a brief description of each option for your reference.

  • Home Burial: After performing the euthanasia procedure we will carefully assist you with placing your pet into your vehicle for transport home. For small to medium size pets we will provide a complimentary cardboard casket.  For larger pets we recommend you bring along a larger size blanket to use for transport.
  • Communal Cremation: Communal cremation means that your pet is cremated in a group setting with other pets.  This service also includes the gentle pick up of your pet from our hospital as soon as possible.  This option maintains a high level of dignity at a modest cost.  Pet ashes are not returned, but receive a proper burial at the cemetery grounds at Angel View Pet Cemetery.
  • Private Cremation: This service includes the gentle pick up of your pet from the hospital.  Once in the care of Final Gift, your pet is placed into a private cremation chamber.  The remains are then placed in an attractive urn of your choice and hand delivered back to the hospital to be reunited with your family.  A certificate of cremation and grief package is issued with every private cremation. All private cremations include a complimentary urn.  Please click on the image below for more details.
